Bio: Dr. Hall is a Professor and Ellison Endowed Chair in International Floriculture and his expertise is in the production and marketing of Green Industry crops. He is nationally recognized in academia and among the horticultural clientele he serves. His major research, teaching, & extension areas of specialization include strategic management, market situation/outlook, cost accounting, and financial analysis for green industry firms.

The economic uncertainty ahead for the US economy has several implication for green industry firms in 2024. In this presentation, Dr. Hall will clarify the economic environment and, more importantly, the strategic implications for green industry businesses in terms of inventory levels, capital expenditures, and working capital management.
