Tom Creswell has more than 35 years of experience in plant disease diagnosis and has been director of the PPDL since 2008. Prior to coming to Purdue University, he was the managing director of the Plant Disease and Insect Clinic at North Carolina State University for 20 years. He received his B.S. in Botany and M.S. in Plant Pathology from Auburn University and his Ph.D. in Plant Pathology from NCSU. He is also actively involved in the American Phytopathological Society and the National Plant Diagnostic Network.
